Students

Students from Newcastle or Northumbria Universities can use any NHS library in the Northumberland, Tyne & Wear area for the duration of your course.

Students on placement from any other university can use the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Library for the duration of the placement.

Student library membership will entitle you to:

  • 24/7 access to Library and facilities (out of hours access using a door code)
  • Full borrowing rights from 35,000+ items on the shared NHS Libraries Catalogue – 8 items at any one time
  • Access to training and skills support
  • IT Access - PC’s, ipads, printing/copying, scanning, software including Office and Endnote
