PsycINFO database reload delay

Dear PsycINFO Customer:

Due to new and changed fields given to us by the APA, the PsycINFO (PSYC) database reload is delayed. We expect it to be live on September 29, 2016. Please note, alerts will be pushed with this reload on Wednesday, September 28, 2016.

This affects the following updates:

The reload includes the following changes:

  • Dissertation Details (DS)
  • MeSH (MH)
  • NLM Serial Title Abbreviation (NL)
  • Parent Book Author ID (PD)
  • Parent Book Edition (PN)
  • Parent Book Volume (PV)
  • Source Title Translation (SL)

2 Changed Fields

  • Accession Number (AN) – removed the Publication Type from the display.
  • Publication Month/Season (MO) – displayed separately. Previously displayed in the Source (SO) field.
