Ovid Embase update
Dear Ovid Embase Customer:
In December 2016, due to the feedback of users, Elsevier paused the indexing of MEDLINE records into Embase. On February 2nd, indexing will start with the normal forward feed only, followed by a gradual release of content in the backfile.
Ovid and Elsevier understand that extremely high volumes of records indexed in a limited amount of time can cause difficulties for some users. Elsevier will be limiting the volume of records per day as well as total records per week and Ovid will continue to load the Embase content as we receive it from Elsevier. You may see higher volumes in your auto-alerts due to the MEDLINE records starting again, but we expect that weekly volumes should not exceed 18,000 records.
