Dear Ovid JBI Customer:

New name for Joanna Briggs Institute – JBI

This name change is part of a larger re-brand, which coincides with a strategic re-focus and re-invigoration of JBI’s resources—as the Institute has transformed from a regional organization into one with over 40 international partners and a reputation as the global leader in evidence-based healthcare. The change is also due, in part, to a recognition of how healthcare organizations and users already refer to the organization.

Please know that this name change will not affect your institution’s access to your JBI product(s) on Ovid.

As a reminder, the following JBI resources are available on the Ovid platform:

• JBI EPB Database – systematic reviews, evidence summaries, and best practice information sheets, and more
• JBI Evidence Synthesis (formerly JBI Database of Systematic Reviews and Implementation Journal) publishes systematic review protocols and systematic research reviews by JBI and collaborating partners
• JBI Evidence-Based Carers Manual – step-by-step guidance—using evidence-based practices—for Aged Care professions in attending to the daily care needs of their residents
• JBI Evidence Implementation (formerly International Journal of Evidence-Based Healthcare) includes investigations of feasibility, applicability, meaningfulness, and effectiveness in health care delivery and practice
• Lippincott/JBI Synthesis Science in Healthcare – 24 books covering evidence discovery, synthesis, translation, and application.
