Dear Ovid MEDLINE Customer:

The Ovid MEDLINE® Database is being reloaded to implement the 2023 MeSH. Further to our messaging on 9 December 2022, we now expect it to be live on Monday, February 20, 2023. Alerts will be run on Saturday, February 18, 2023 prior to the reload.
In addition, Ovid has made the following changes:

New Fields
Corporate Author (CN)
Keyword Heading Owner (KO)
Population Supplementary Concept (UL)
Population Supplementary Concept Word (UX)
Anatomy Supplementary Concept (MY)
Anatomy Supplementary Concept Word (MX)

New Limit
Remove Preprint Records

You can find more information about the changes to 2023 MeSH on this NLM page: https://www.nlm.nih.gov/mesh/whatsnew.html

We also like to remind you that with this reload we will make the “Ovid MEDLINE(R) ALL” version of the database available to all customers that don't already see this in their resource menu on Ovid. Ovid MEDLINE ALL is equivalent in content to PubMed and was first made available in 2017. You can find detailed information and why it is important to have it displayed for your users in these locations:

The Ovid Support team will be pleased to help you to re-organize your Select Resources list. Database segments can be added, removed and sorted in your resource list upon request. For instance, if you would like to have Ovid MEDLINE ALL displayed in your Select Resources list, and have all other Ovid MEDLINE options removed, please contact Ovid Customer Support.

Feel free to contact Customer Support with any questions by sending an email to [email protected].

Regards,

Wolters Kluwer - Ovid
