Global Health Database Reload Scheduled

Dear Ovid Global Health Customer:

The CAB Global Health (CAGH) database is being reloaded to implement the latest 2022 CAB Thesaurus tool and load the new 2022 dataset. We expect it to be live on Tuesday 7 June 2022. Alerts will run on Monday 6 June 2022, prior to the reload.

Ahead of this reload, and already available, we have implemented the following 3 new database limits.

New limits:

• Abstract Journals in CAB Abstracts: this is based on the CABI Database Subject Codes (CC) index. You can use the codes during a database search both as a means of subject searching and to limit a search to Abstract Journals to one or more areas. Using the codes can improve search efficiency and save time.
• CAB Ebooks: this is based on the CABI Database Subject Codes (CC) index. You can use the codes during a database search both as a means of subject searching and to limit a search to CAB eBooks to one or more areas.

• Systematic Review: this filter is based on an Ovid search strategy for that topic. Ovid Limits are “AND” combined with the search line you wish to limit. The filter is based on the same search strategy in use with CABI for the CABI Code for Systematic Reviews. While we don’t validate this filter, we’ve provided the full transcript of the strategy in the database guide for the reloaded CAB Abstracts database.
