The Health Management Information Consortium (HMIC) database brings together the bibliographic database of two UK health and social care management organizations: the Department of Health's Library and Information Services (DH-Data) and King’s Fund Information and Library Service.
HMIC is an invaluable source of information for health care administrators and managers. Coverage includes official publications, journal articles and grey literature on a wide variety of subjects.

Kings Fund Database: |
- A collection of books, journal articles, pamphlets and reports published since 1979, containing more than 70,000 records.
- Records include books, pamphlets, government reports, abstracts of journal articles, and a wide range of grey literature.

Department of Health Library Database: |
- A collection of over 174,000 records of official publications, journal articles and grey literature.
- The majority of records are from 1983 onwards, although coverage of departmental materials dates back to 1919.
- Over a quarter of the records have abstracts.
