Engage your audience: teaching and presenting with interactive tools

Ned Potter, Academic Liaison Librarian

As Health Librarians we often need to welcome new users, teach students, and present to staff. There are lots of freely available tools which allow these sessions to be more interactive, and they can be used instead of a traditional presentation tool like PowerPoint or alongside it. They also work equally well in online, and face-to-face, situations. We'll look at how, when and why to use these tools, and try one out.

Rachel Dicker, Product Management Associate Director – Ovid Synthesis

Suzanne Duncan, Director of Library Services for Sentara Healthcare

Please join us to understand how Ovid Synthesis could help address current challenges when engaging in EBP, QI and research projects - Identifying novel opportunities for your library to support and participate in EBP, QI and research opportunities, underscoring its impact within your organisation.
