PsycINFO 2019 Reload – March 2019

PsycINFO 2019 Reload

Dear PsycINFO Customer:

The PsycINFO (PSYH) Database is being reloaded. The reload will implement the latest APA Thesaurus Tool. We expect it to be live on Tuesday 28 May, 2019. Alerts will be run on Monday 27 May, 2019 prior to the reload.

In order to be able to continue to provide database updates and process a large number of correction records, Ovid decided to start loading all new records with the new APA thesaurus tool in advance of the reload. As a consequence, 25 existing subject headings are no longer available as they are being replaced in the new APA thesaurus. These subject headings are no longer available for use in PsycINFO on Ovid. In the table below, you will find temporary alternative searches that need to be used for existing and new search strategies effective immediately.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
